Governance

For many years SHBVN services were delivered with direct support from Clackmannanshire Council in the form of legal and financial stewardship.  Heriot-Watt University also provided staffing, office provison and IT services.  In 2011 SHBVN altered its legal status, becoming a company with charitable status.

 

During this time the organisation also moved office to it's current location on Princes Street in Edinburgh.  The legal changes also altered the organisations governance structures and it is now managed by a Board of Trustees.

 

The Trustees are appointed following an election at the Annual General Meeting in October each year.  If you are interested in becoming a Trustee contact SHBVN at admin@shbvn.org
